In the most recent U.S. News & World Report rankings of America’s Best Colleges 2015, Villanova University was ranked 1st among “Best Regional Universities - North”, followed by Providence College in 2nd place.

Bentley University was ranked 6th among “Best Regional Universities - North”, and 51st among the “Best Business Programs” in the country. This ranking is based on results from peer assessment surveys. Among the top Regional Universities-North, Bentley was also ranked 1st for Highest Freshman Retention Rate.

The University of Scranton was placed among the top 10 “Best Regional Universities in the North,” ranking at No.7 in the 2015 “Best Colleges” guide. Additionally, U.S. News ranked the University No. 12 in its category of colleges recognized as “Great Schools at Great Prices.” The ranking, which includes just 150 colleges in the nation, compares academic quality of programs to cost of attendance.

Rochester Institute of Technology was ranked 8th in the “Best Regional Universities (North)” category among hundreds of schools that offer a full range of undergraduate majors and master’s programs. RIT also received the 2nd highest peer assessment score, which is a survey of presidents, provosts and deans from other universities judging a school’s academic excellence. In the “Great Schools, Great Prices” category, RIT was ranked 5th among regional universities (North).

Bryant University moved up to No. 11 (Regional Universities North) in the 2015 U.S. News & World Report rankings. It is the 10th consecutive year Bryant has appeared in the top 20 in its category. Last year Bryant ranked No. 14.
