The University of Bath was rated as the number one place to study Architecture in the UK, according to the 2014 Complete University Guide, followed by Cambridge in 2nd place and University College London in 3rd place.

The University of Edinburgh was ranked 1st in Scotland and 4th in the UK for architecture by the Complete University Guide. Moreover, the Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, which combines researchers from the University of Edinburgh and Edinburgh College of Art, leads Scotland in research in architecture, landscape architecture and the built environment, according to the Research Assessment Exercise 2008.

Newcastle University was ranked in the top 5 in the UK for architecture in both the Sunday Times University Guide 2013 and The Complete University Guide 2014. The quality of the architecture study experience at Newcastle was recognised with an overall satisfaction score of 90% in the National Student Survey 2012.

The Manchester School of Architecture, a joint school of the University of Manchester and the Manchester Metropolitan University, moved up two places form 10th to 8th in the 2014 Complete University Guide, followed by Liverpool in 9th place.

Oxford Brookes University was ranked 10th out of the 52 UK universities offering Architecture courses - this is a considerable achievement considering that just three years ago the School was ranked 17th. In the overall rankings, Oxford Brookes was rated 45th of 124 institutions, up from 59th in 2009.
