Helsinki School of Economics (HSE) is the largest and top ranking business school in Finland, consistently listed among the best business schools worldwide by the Financial Times.

HSE has the following Academic Departments: Accounting and Finance, Economics, Business Technology, Languages and Communication, and Marketing and Management. It is a member of CEMS, the Global Alliance in Management Education and PIM, Partnership in International Management.

The School was awarded AACSB accreditation in 2007. Its MBA and EMBA Programs are the first business management programs in Finland and the Nordic Countries to receive AMBA Accreditation. In addition it was among the first European Business Schools to receive EQUIS accreditation. The Finnish Higher Education Evaluation Council (FINHEEC) has audited the HSE quality system.

- 55th globally in the Financial Times EMBA Ranking 2009.

- 17th in the FT ranking of Top 65 European MBA programs 2008.

- The MIM Program is rated 3rd by the FT Master in Management Ranking 2008.

- 2nd for the MIM Program by Financial Times's Master in Management Ranking in 2007.

- The Master of Science degree program is placed 27th in Europe in 2007 (FT European ranking of “pre-experience” Master’s in Management degree programs). It is placed 24th in 2006.

- HSE Executive Education is placed among the 40 best management schools in the world in 2007 (FT).

- The German Handelsblatt ranked the HSE MBA Program at 17th in Europe.
