Founded in 1920, the University of St. Francis (USF) is a top Catholic, Franciscan university offering a range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs at the Joliet campus and more than 85 locations nationwide. It is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

The university has four colleges:
- College of Arts and Science
- College of Business and Health Administration
- College of Education
- College of Nursing and Allied Health

The College of Business is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). It offers the MBA degree program both onsite and online. Students can complete an MBA at any time and anywhere through their laptop or computers. The program accepts candidates with undergraduate degrees from any discipline.

MBA Core Courses include Marketing Management, Applied Business Research Methods, Management and Organizational Behavior, Managerial Economics, Managerial Finance, and Managerial Accounting. Concentrations include Management, Health Administration, and Training & Development.
